wandering and wondering.

RE-DO.

i need to be writing more regularly somewhere.
and i’ve never been a fan with what i’ve done with this tumblr.
so it’s time for a RE-DO.

the why.

“…But this helplessness actually further compelled me to continue working on this project, making sure that I could be as much of an influence as possible on people’s understanding of the issue, its urgency and the need to work together for change.” (from here.)

now our lives are changing fast.

holidays inevitably bring to mind the concept of home and belonging, legacy and where you come from…where you are now, and the distance in between.

(adulthood just complicates my thinking.)

in the beginning.

created out of love
created to love
created to be loved

if only we lived out our lives knowing and believing this, from the depths of our souls. i wonder how we would see ourselves.

wisdom.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do…If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.” - jobs, 2005.
